Interview with Emma Green – The Tennis Elbow Queen! – with QUADS Physical Therapy in Pasadena, CA. In May 2021 she published the book Tennis Elbow Relief.
Emma shares her Personal Story for how she found out her life’s career passion in Physical Therapy at age 13.
She discusses what Golfer’s Elbow, and Tennis Elbow are – and how they differ.
Emma talks about some of the Most Common Mistakes that people make about Golfer’s and Tennis Elbow.
She describes 4 Important Phases of Treatment – Self-Help Strategies, Normalizing the Soft Tissues, Strengthening, and Endurance and Function.
Emma shares what she has found to be the appropriate use of Heat and Ice in her Phase 1 Self-Help Strategies (you might be surprised!).
Many of Emma’s exercises are not “direct” elbow exercises. She shares some some simple and effective exercises – including what she believes is the Best Core Exercise we can do!
Finally, Emma shares some final words of encouragement for everyone suffering with Golfer’s and Tennis Elbow.
